V Festival - Drawing the summer to an end, one of the largest festivals in the UK takes place on two sites on consecutive days, one in Stafford, one in Essex. On the line up this year we have the following bands representing Laney:

The Prodigy Headline T in the Park

Essex electro-punk pioneers recently headlined the Scottish T in The Park festival, which was covered by BBC Scotland. Check out the online footage, and see Laney endorsee Rob Holliday in action.

Metal Monk

Sharp eyed visitors to the BBC’s website will have noticed a RB9 stack heavily featured in the background of a piece about an Italian Capuchin monk whose bizarre epiphany came on seeing Metallica perform… since this point he has gone on to join a metal band, but still remains true to his faith.

Brighton Institute of Modern Music

Following on from our support of the Brighton Institute of Modern Music, we are now also involved with the college’s new site in Bristol which opens for business in the next two weeks. We are providing the college with 2 x GH100L, 2 x VH100R and a Nexus Tube stack which will be available for all students as part of the music performance courses.

Reverend and the Makers

We recently visited the Sheffield sextet at Soho’s Dean Street studios, where they are working on their follow up album to 2007’s The State Of Things. We have provided the band’s guitarists with a VC30-212, a L20T-410 and a L20H and LT212, all of which are being used in the recording of the new album.The band will be taking the amps out on the road to various festivals later this year, and whilst touring the new album.
