We are extremely proud to welcome Louiz Banks to the Laney Family of Artists. Jazz Pianist and Keyboardist Louiz Banks is unanimously acclaimed as the supreme Jazz and Fusion Guru to emerge from India. A excellance composer and performer both on acoustic piano and electronic keyboards, with years of experience, he has performed all over the world as a keyboardist / leader of his jazz and fusion bands. SILK, DIYA, REALITY CHECK, AATMA, AAKRITI, BROTHERHOOD, MATRIXX and as co-leader of NAAD BRAHMA.

He has performed with some of the greatest international jazz greats from Dizzy Gillespie, John McLaughlin, Mike Stern, Charles Lloyd and others, to Indian Classical legends Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Zakir Hussein, Ramamani to many other great musicians, in ‘live’ stage performances. He was nominated for the Grammy’s for his collaboration as co-producer in the path breaking MILES FROM INDIA album in 2008 and represented India at the Montreal Jazz Festival 2010.

He has been the most prolific music creator of advertising jingles, stage musicals, film background scores and original compositions covering various genres and has released many music albums. All this profuse musical activity is an ongoing process in Louiz’s life. His other passion is painting. Louiz Banks is the face of Jazz and Fusion in India.
