Music Live was a hectic show!
The doors opened at 10am on Friday and the public flooded in. Since the Laney display was the first thing they saw we were inundated from the word go.
There is no doubt that Laney amps are as popular as they have ever been, if not more so at Music Live.
With Prism amps now appearing in stores people were keen to see and hear what all the chatter is about. The whole day was spent demonstrating the Prisms Hero Modes and running people through how easy it was to dial in Great usable tones from the get go. The metal kids were riffing all day through the heavy presets and comments were also made about how good the classic rock 'just breaking up' sounds are. Prism represents a real advance in the digital amp field, as it's digital flexibility but with a real analog feel. The new Cub range of amps also created a lot of interest resulting in all of them being sold on the first day.
As the day wore on everyone seemed to be commenting on how good the range was looking and sounding these days.
Day two dawned at it was business as usual. It seems that the second days audience is a little more switched onto the merits of a nice set of red hot tubes, LC and VC amps were the flavour of the day today, in particular the first showing of the VC15 limited edition amplifier finished in Old English White vinyl.
Metal was the name of the game on Day three - everyone wanted to be Tony Iommi! Stacks are back big time.
Music Live really was a great show for Laney .
